Setup

How setup works

Four steps, all online, except the part where a technician comes to your door. That part is free.

  1. Check your buildingReal fibre, or not yet
  2. Sign up onlineTwo minutes, no paperwork
  3. Book setupPick a window that suits
  4. ConnectedA technician checks every device
On the day

What the technician does

The visit is the only part of switching that is not online, so we make it count.

Finishes the fibre

Fits the wall plate if it is not there yet and connects your apartment to the building riser.

Installs the router

A Wi-Fi 6 router, placed where the signal works, configured and named the way you want.

Moves your devices

Phones, laptops, TV, speakers and the smart gear nobody remembers the password for.

Tests it with you

A speed test on your own device, in the room you use most, before they leave.

Before the visit

Three things to have ready

  • A spot for the routerSomewhere central with a power point, not in a cupboard. The technician will suggest one if you are unsure.
  • Your current provider detailsSo you know what to cancel once you are up and running. Nothing to cancel in advance.
  • The devices that matter mostThe technician connects them on the day. Anything with a hard-to-find password is worth digging out first.
Questions

Questions, answered.

Usually under an hour in the apartment. The technician fits the wall plate if it is not there yet, installs the router, connects your devices and runs a speed test with you.
